LEAD DESIGNER
LONDON
In 2012 I had redesigned Grand Visual's website to better serve mobile users, and to bring their outstanding digital out-of-home production work to the fore.

That site served them well for three years, but since it launched, the company had doubled in size, opened a second office in New York City, and won a load more awards. The 2012 site was beginning to show the strain.

One of the most successful aspects of the previous design had been the way it featured the company’s award-winning work on the homepage, and we wanted to keep that aspect in place. But I also needed to give a better sense of the scale of Grand Visual’s offering, and project a brighter, bolder and more dynamic brand image.

In the three years the existing site had been running, a large library of blog posts and case studies had built up, so we wanted to avoid a major data migration or need to rework past content. Consequently we stayed with WordPress as the CMS, but set about a major front-end change. I designed a responsive website design that took advantage of the full range of devices and screen sizes from smartphones to wide-screen cinema displays.
